Today is 8th Dec 2010. We (BeST participants) have learn about the art of communication. The speaker are Mr Hisham and Miss Nani. Our topic today is quite interesting. Mr Hashim start the slot with asking most of us about the meaning of our name and background. For me, this is one the way to gather information about others in order to know each other. Mr Hisham has his own way and personality to make most of us attract to his talk( talk or speech ?). In this today session, he told us what must we have for an excellent communication.
Hmmm, this topic is quite interesting actually. Then, we also have two fun activities, the first one at the morning session and the second one at the afternoon session. Our first activities is we need to draw anything that come at very first in our mind when the paper was distributed. Twelve fastest drawers is called to present what have they drawn and what are the meanings of the drawing to them. But this is not really interesting activity. The second activity is more interesting than the first one. But I still like some of them whose present their drawing. I choose Fadhirul and Liyana as my most favorite presenter. For me Fadhirul did a great job because he really know what he is talking about. His English of course very great ! His topic based on his drawing also interesting. Liyana is a very good story teller. Her topic is about cat and it is a very interesting topic as well. I love cat too. She have a very structured and clear words, and she look so very confident in her presentation.
For the second activity, each of the group had chosen one item and we need to promote the item in our own ways. This is very fun activity. This activity make us become more creative, brave and confident. Most of us did a very good job. I really have fun in this activity. Actually, I do not acting since form 4. I do not really like acting but I believe that I can do better for that afternoon session. From this activity, I can say that most of us can pronounce and speak in English very well. Great job my friend ! Each of the group have a very creative ways to promote their items. Some of us can be a good actress and actor after all. We also get some positive comments from both speakers. All the comments definitely will improve our self.
Can I feel the art of the communication based on this today session? Hmmm...Just ask yourself..I think, some of us can feel the art and some cannot. My hope for today session? I hope that all of us can improve our communication skill, increase our confident level and be a very brave person to express our opinions and also can feel the art of communication.. I also hope that all of us will be a better person for a better future. We will do our best for the sake of our life .( '' ,)
